About Stokesley Deanery

Stokesley Deanery is a group of parishes and benefices (see here for full details of each) within the Diocese of York. We are a wonderfully diverse group encompassing everything from small rural parishes to those in Urban Priority Areas on the outskirts of Middlesbrough. The Deanery includes suburban estates, two market towns, several villages and the largest private housing estate in Europe! We have a quarterly synod (meeting) attended by representatives (both clergy and laypeople) from each parish.
